At the upcoming MUNICH FABRIC START, around 500 international suppliers will present their material innovations for all apparel segments in the FABRICS Area. The complete product portfolio of fashionable woven and knitted fabrics made of wool, cotton, silk, blends and functional fibres will be presented here. For the Spring.Summer 26 season, we present some new products and highlights from international producers in our FABRICS blog posts:
MOON
Their most extensive Spring Summer collection to date features lighter-weight fabrics in pure wool and blends with natural fibres like cotton and linen. Combining classic and contemporary designs with a distinctly British aesthetic, the range suits both formal tailoring and casual styles.
This season introduces their newly developed ‘Vintage Dry Finish’, giving worsted wool qualities a crisp, cool hand feel that brings a modern and relaxed character to traditionally formal fabrics.
In addition to the made-to-order seasonal collection, they are expanding our extensive stock service with a new Wool Linen stock service card. The stock service spans summer weights through to heavy weights, offering iconic tweeds, barathea, cavalry twills, elegant couture tweeds, and much more. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, all are available with minimums from just 1 metre, offering flexibility for a wide range of projects.

GETZNER
Summer can come with the new fabrics from Getzner Textil! Fresh colours, high wearing comfort and functionality are at the heart of the new summer collection. The Austrian company is setting standards with innovative materials: non-iron fabrics with natural stretch ensure freedom of movement, which is appreciated both in sports and in everyday urban life. Cooling natural fibres such as cotton, linen and hemp make the collection ideal for warm summer days, while odour-inhibiting properties and a silky feel further enhance the feel-good factor and wearing comfort.
With a clear conscience
Fabrics that not only look good, but also feel good – that is Getzner Textil’s claim. The environmentally friendly and skin-friendly Eco Soft fabrics guarantee 100 per cent comfort – without any synthetic resins, formaldehyde or silicones. Getzner Textil relies on sustainable materials such as organic cotton and the ‘Regenerative Cotton Standard’ (RCS) for its resource-saving production.
Colours that make summer shine
The colour palette of the 2026 summer collection invites you to dream: Delicate blues and soft greens harmonise perfectly with cheerful yellows and warm orange tones. Sandy beige tones and light neutrals provide an elegant base, while navy blue, dark blackcurrant and earthy brown tones round off the palette with stylish accents. Whether brightly coloured or discreetly understated – there is something for every taste.
